The Eighth Annual Research Conference of Chinese Accounting Professors’ Association of North America (CAPANA)

The Chinese Accounting Professors’ Association of North America (CAPANA) invites both members and non-members to register and attend the Eighth Annual Research Conference. The conference will be held in Shanghai, July 9-10, 2015. The conference is sponsored by Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Papers in all areas of accounting using all available methodologies are welcome. The objective of the conference is to bring together accounting scholars in North America, Asia, and other parts of the world to discuss a small number of high quality research papers.

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Paper submission deadline is Feb 15, 2015. Please submit your paper by sending it to: capana2015@163.com and visit the CAPANA website: (http://www.capana.net) for the information about conference registration and the program of past conferences.

The working language of the conference is English. Only papers written in English will be considered. While both China-related and non-China-related papers are encouraged, at least one slot will be reserved for China study to promote research in this area. Papers by current CAPANA officers will not be considered. Selection of papers will be made through a review process.

BEST PAPER AWARD: There will be a best paper award of $500 voted by conference participants towards the end of presentations.

REGISTRATION: Except for the invited discussants, all conference participants (including presenting authors) are required to pay a registration fee of US$250 for CAPANA member and US$370 for non-members. The registration fee includes conference materials, receptions, and meals.
